Description: This module is developed for any middle grade student in Business Computer Technology 7th & 8th grade who desire to learn how to create a Database file. However, students in any other discipline such as Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, and Music would also find this unit beneficial to them as well. In this module I will present students with the basic steps to create a Database. The learners will be given several Internet resources to examine Databases. They will then create a simple Database on paper by collecting the raw data from classmates or family members. Students will enter the manual data collected into a Database software program such as Access to allow them to practice to create a Database file. After students have created the Database file they will complete a Multiple Choice quiz to check their mastery of the concept they have learned.
