Assi: Moroco and Algeria
Description: Morocco and Algeria If you ever visit morocco, it's important to know about some of their traditions in their culture. If you get invited to a someone's house for dinner, you must take your shoes off before entering and usually, you will bring a gift. For an authentic taste of Moroccan food, a house invitation is the best way to sample one. Most traditional foods are eaten with the hands. The left hand is used for the toilet, hence always use your right hand while eating. Following tradition, women work at home and take care of the family, while the men work and support the family. Therefore, men will be the ones that frequent the cafes and restaurants, while women will most likely go to the other women's house or to a hamman. This is the case unless you are a woman traveling with a man. Algeria: The population of Algeria is mainly Sunni Muslims. Berber and Arabic are the most spoken languages. As most African countries, marriages are arranged and the engagement would take place in the mosque. In the case of inheritance, the oldest son will inherit the fathers' properties. if the man has no children, the inheritance will be equally divided among the family members.
