All About the Money - First Grade Economics

This WebQuest is designed to be used in the lower levels of education, for example, first through fourth grade. The objective of this WebQuest is for young students to grasp the simple ideas of Economic Understanding. It is important because it shows the values of spending and saving but also choosing your needs over your wants when you shop. In conclusion, the children will see that they cannot always get what they want, they will be forced to make choices throughout their shopping activity.

SS1E4: Explain that people earn income by working and that they must make choices about
how much to save and spend.
