Each team member will be responsible for either a hiking, safety, food, or shelter job. Your team will use the budget to buy the supplies you need for the camping adventure.  You will use your knowledge of adding, subtracting, and multiplying decimals to help you determine how much money is needed for your supplies, and how much money will be left over to spend on miscellaneous items.  Remember Mount Everest is the most extreme of outdoors, and this trip should be taken very seriously. The last thing you want is to be stranded without your neccessary gear and left for the bears!

·       Hiking Person:

o   Happy trails to you! Your job is to use the budget for camping gear.  This consists of finding the cost of the hiking gear and how many items of each your team will need.  You must remember to budget yourself accordingly and to leave enough money for food, shelter, and first aide supplies.

·        Food Person:

o   Since everyone needs food to survive, your job is to budget how much fishing gear is going to cost.  You must purchase enough food related items for every person on the camping trip.  You must remember to budget yourself accordingly and to leave enough money for hiking equipment, shelter, and first aide supplies.

·       Shelter Person:

o   Where will your team rest their heads at night?!  Your job is to determine whether your team will be sleeping in a tent or under the stars.  You will also determine the cost for the shelter and any other shelter related items you may need. You must remember to budget yourself accordingly and to leave enough money for hiking equipment, food, and first aide supplies.

·       Safety Person:

o   Your job is to prepare for the worst!  As the person in charge of safety, you will need to buy first aide items just in case one of your team members is injured during camping. You must remember to budget yourself accordingly and to leave enough money for hiking equipment, food, and shelter.
