Next, your group should discuss the following questions:
1. What do they eat?
2. How much do they cost?
3. How much does their food cost?
4. Where do they live and how much does their house cost?
5. Where do they go to the bathroom?
6. Do they bite?
7. What temperature do they have to live in?
8. Do they need a lot of exercise?
9. How big will it grow?
10. What do you need to do to take care of it?
11. Will it be happy in the classroom?
12. Is it noisy?
13. How does this pet act?
After you have talked about these things there are two more things to do. First, fill out a "Care Chart" for your pet.
Then, design a poster of all the fun facts you learned about your pet that you want to share with the class.
Now you are ready to make your presentation to the class! Show us your poster and your care chart - and act out for the rest of the class how your pet will act.
After each group has had a chance to present, we will vote on which pet to adopt in our classroom! Good Luck!
