Here is what you need to do.........

1) Choose your hippopotamus

Make sure that you also use library books and the printed information to get extra information.

2) Find your information.

Using the websites and library books, find information on your animal about:

- Habitat: Where does it like to live (country, terrain, water body, temperature)

- Diet: What types of food does it eat?

- Physical Traits: Size, lifespan, appearance (colour, skin texture, teeth, tail)

- Other interesting facts

- Definitions / Terms: Define (Mammal, Species, Habitat), What is a male, female and a baby hippopotamus called?

Using your written language books, write out the information that you are going to use on your information report poster.

3) Show your teacher

When you have found all the information you think you need, show me. Information needs to be written in paragraphs.

4) Create your poster

Your poster will need to be very neat and colourful. Take your time when you draw and write, there is no need to rush.

Make sure you poster has a:

- Title

- Pictures

- Required information

Think carefully about how you arrange the information on your poster before gluing it down.

5) When everyone has finished their poster, we will show them to each other and display them in the classroom.
