In blood we trust...
Introduction

The XIXth century... a patient arrives to the hospital. He is bleeding as a consequence of an accident and urgently needs a blood transfusion to replace the blood he's lost. Doctors make the transfusion. The volume of blood in the body is restored and the body is "repaired" (injuries have been "fixed"). However, a few hours later, the patient's organs suffer inexplicable massive damage not related to the injuries or any other previous condition. A few moments later... he dies. Why? Did the doctors do something wrong?
